LG Q6 is reported to feature a smaller 5.4-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone will come with 3GB RAM and sport one 13MP rear camera setup
LG has been reported to be performing on a small version of its leadership G6 handset and the smartphone is now predicted to debut on July 11. LG has begun distributing press invites for a conference in Poland on July 11, where it could declare the introduction of the q6. One of the invites tweeted by Grzegorz Dabek bears a hashtag “LGBarbeQ’ advising the possible introduction of Q6, while other invite shared by Michal Pisarski approves the introduction of the Q6 handset. It is not clear if LG is doing a worldwide introduction of the Q6 in Poland, or it is only the Polish introduction of the item.
LG currently extended its G6 product lineup with the introduction of a 32GB version and latest G6+ featuring 128GB storage, Quad DAC and support for wireless charging. LG Q6 is reported to sport a 5.4-inch screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio same as the LG G6. The smartphone with that taller aspect ratio and a smaller screen is predicted to be significantly smaller in total aspects. The screen-to-body ratio of the LG Q6 is anticipated to be same as the G6.
It is not clear if the display will sport same 2880 x 1440 pixel resolution like its older sibling. The LG Q6 is said to provide just 3GB RAM and sport one 13MP rear camera as disputed to the dual camera system available on G6. The smartphone could be powered by Snapdragon 821 platform, but the latest introduced Snapdragon 660 is more possibly to be used. LG is attempting to discover the momentum it has missed to Apple and Samsung in the premium handset section. The company is also working hard to challenge with Chinese handset manufacturers in the budget and mid-range section. With LG Q6, the company could wish to woo users who choose model and form aspect.
